Where to Find Front Range Fireworks Shows

For many Americans, July Fourth is a family holiday — it involves backyard barbecues, maybe a parade through town, and a local fireworks show.  For those of you who like to end your celebration of the nation’s birthday with a fireworks display, we’ve created a list of area fireworks shows. There are a lot of options in our patriotic state:Fireworks Display

Arvada: Fourth of July fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m. at the Stenger Sports Complex. Gates open to vehicles at 7 p.m. More information about the event is available HERE.

Aurora: Fourth of July Spectacular! July 4, 6 to 10 p.m. at Aurora Municipal Center -15151 E. Alameda Parkway. The spectacular will feature music, food and free concerts from 6-9:30 p.m. with fireworks after. Click HERE for more information.

Broomfield: The Great American Picnic- July 4 at Broomfield County Commons Park! The celebration starts at 5:00 p.m. with pony rides and inflatables. Enjoy a free concert and bring a picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from vendors at the park. After the concert, the fireworks display begins at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m. For more information click HERE.

Castle Rock: The town of Castle Rock fireworks show will be July 4 at Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, 2156 Red Hawk Ridge Drive. The fireworks show begins around 9:30 p.m. You can find more information HERE.

Commerce City: Colorado Rapids game and fireworks at 6000 Victory Way in Commerce City on July 4. Watch the Colorado Rapids take on the Seattle Sounders FC and stay for post-game fireworks. Game time is at 7:00 p.m. More info available HERE.

Denver: The Denver Outlaws take on the Boston Cannons at 7:00 p.m. July 4. Stay for fireworks after the game. More info HERE.

Denver: Elitch Gardens-Spend July 4 at the amusement park and then watch the fireworks show that begins after dusk. More information HERE.

Denver: Independence Eve at Civic Center Park. The event starts at 8 p.m. July 3 and features a concert, light show and fireworks. Click HERE for more information.

Greeley: The Greeley Stampede Independence Day Fireworks display will start at approximately 9:30 p.m. The display will be featured over the northwest corner of Island Grove Park. Participants can catch great views from anywhere in Island Grove Park! Click HERE for more information.

Littleton: 4th of July Festival-This festival at Belleview and Cornerstone Parks is from 3 to 10 p.m on July 4 and will feature food, games and a fireworks show after dusk. More information available HERE.

Longmont: Longmont 4th of July Fireworks Display will start at 9:30 pm. at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (Hover & Boston). For more information about the Longmont Fireworks click HERE.

Loveland: 4th of July Celebration at North Lake Park at 2626 North Taft Ave. The Fireworks Show will start at 9:17 p.m. over Lake Loveland. For more information about all festivities at Northlake Park click HERE.

Thornton: The fourth of July Celebration will be held at Carpenter Park Fields, 108th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard. This celebration starts at 4 p.m. and ends after the parachute jumpers and fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. There will be a beer garden, food and music. More information HERE.

Westminster: 4th of July Celebration will be held at City Park. The festivities are July 4 from 4 to 10 p.m. There will be food vendors, beer gardens, performances and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. More information HERE.
